Welcome to Samba Fusion we are a non-auditioning, community Samba drumming band, based in Newton Stewart.
The band rehearses fortnightly on a Wednesday evening (6.30pm to 8.30pm) throughout the year at the Riverside Centre, Riverside Road, Newton Stewart, DG8 6NH.
Sessions are very informal and we're always looking to increase the size of our band; welcoming new or lapsed players of any ability aged 16 years and over (the age of our oldest member is unmentionable!!). There's no formal commitment - just come along to rehearsals and join in the fun!
Your first two sessions are free - after that a monthly subscription costs £15 or you may choose to pay £8 each time you join us.
Samba Fusion welcomes new members and you don't need to have any previous experience. You'll be given a drum/percussion instrument and plenty of friendly support. You can come and join our fortnightly practices or try one of our open workshops (details to follow soon).
